How to create a second Instagram account?

Instagram is now the second-largest social platform, and having multiple accounts is of great help for Instagram users. Having a second or even third account is specifically high for small and medium-sized business accounts in which they can introduce different services or support. 

Now, it is very usual for social media users to have multiple accounts. Even this is true for messaging apps like WhatsApp or telegram in which you can add multiple accounts. How to create a second Instagram account with one email?

To create a second Instagram account on mobile: 

1. Open the Instagram app 
2. Login to your account 
3. Tap on your profile picture 
4. Go to hamburger icon (three-line icon on the top right)
5. Tap on setting and scroll down 
6. Tap on add account which is in blue color 
7. Tap on create new account 
8. Choose a unique username 
9. Choose to which account you want to add it (you can log in later with that account too)
10. Tap the complete creating account 

Please notice you cannot add more than five different accounts to the Instagram app. If you want to add more, you should first log out from other accounts. If you have trouble adding more than the limitations, you should use any social media management tools. 

How to create a second Instagram account with on computer?

Instagram has added other options on its website for users using a desktop, like the Instagram direct message. Still, unfortunately, you cannot add a second Instagram account with one email on the computer. 

To have multiple Instagram account, you should only log out of all accounts on desktop and sign up using a new email address or phone number. 

As I have shown below, you should fill-up the form first and submit to create a second Instagram account. 

It is also possible to log in with a Facebook account. 

Advantages of having a second Instagram account 

Creating a second Instagram account from a computer or any other device has lots of benefits for you. As you know, you can create only one account with an email address, but Instagram provided this option to have a second account with the same email address. 

So, you can use one for public inquiries and another for the individual posts. 

Another advantage of having a second Instagram account connected to the previous user name is that you can log in and log out with the parent Instagram account (the one you have added the new one to it). It makes the login activity more comfortable and faster and also no need to set username or password for all the new accounts. 

Although, there is a possibility to connect up to three Instagram account to each other through this method. In this way, once you log out from the parent account, all other new accounts would be logged out too.
